FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & POLICIES

FAQ'S:

BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE ON HOLD: My families schedules have made it challenging to be available for weekends at this time.

Can I stay with my child during class? *CLASSES for ages 5+ ARE DROP OFF AT THIS TIME. Caregivers welcome fro ART stART classes ages 3-5 but, independence encouraged.

Do you offer aprons/smocks? Aprons are available but please dress your child in clothing you don’t mind getting artfully messy. A messy day typically means a fun/creative day.

Do you do wine-and-painting classes? No, but we do occasionally offer some workshops for adults! We'll explore some fun art mediums/materials or some cool manageable projects that are suitable for ALL LEVELS. Everyone is welcome to b.y.o. food/beverage.

My child has special needs; can he/she take art classes at Dot to Dot Art Workshop? Our staff does not have any formal education in teaching children with special needs, but we would love to learn from you, the best way for for us to help your child to reach their personal successes in class. 

I am a practicing artist with teaching experience, can I teach a class at Dot to Dot Art Workshop?  Yes, we are always looking for local talent who have something creative & fun to offer kids and adults. Contact Alex, to discuss your vision and based on scheduling & availability we can design new classes/workshops together. Policies:

-Doors open at the start time of class. We ask that you pick up your child promptly at the scheduled finishing time.

-If your child is ill, or shows signs of getting sick, we ask that you keep your child at home. We do not offer make-up classes for absences at this time.

-Tuition is to be paid in full to reserve your child’s place for the class.  Payment can be made with online registration or check via snail mail, unless other arrangements have been made.

-If a class must be cancelled due to an emergency, it will be made up on announced date and time.

-If you are having someone other than yourself pickup, please notify staff. Please know that we will not release a student to anyone that you have not given us permission to.

-Snow Days: If there is a snow cancellation or an early dismissal due to bad weather, Dot to Dot Art Workshop contact families by email via “Sawyer” as soon as possible.

-Class sessions may be cancelled due to low enrollment with full refund.

Cancellation Policy:

ART CLASS SESSIONS:

  • Refund will be issued within 2 WEEKS of class start date, less 10% processing fee. 

  • Credit given for future classes at least 1 WEEK before start date of class.

  • No refunds/credits/makeups for missed class: well or ill.  

    SUMMER PROGRAMMING:

  • REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED if a parent/guardian cancels registration BEFORE JUNE 1, less 10% processing fee 

  • CREDIT will be offered for cancellations 2 weeks prior to start date

  • No refunds/credits given for missed class (well or sick)

    Pro-Rating:

    We welcome any newcomers into each session, provided there is space in the class. We are more than happy to pro-rate tuition accordingly.

Photo Release:

We do take photographs of your working artists. We use them for promotional purposes. If you are not okay with this please let us know.
